With no big names behind the project - our vision is to build a community of listeners who have a genuine love for music - not for what is trending. With a focus on hip/hop and house - two genres with an intertwined history - we focus on the culture of music, not the commercialization.

While EDM pioneers such as Diplo, Steve Aoki, Skrillex, Four Tet and Gordo (Carnage) have long led the collaborative effort of hip-hop/rap and dance music, listeners of one genre have not necessarily been fans of the other - until now. From Drake’s 2022 album, “Honestly, Nevermind” to PAWSA’s 2024 hit minimal single, “Pick Up the Phone” with Nate Dogg - times are changing, and the music is effortlessly blending.

Born Cristian Dias in Providence, Rhode Island, San Chico ["Xico" in Portuguese] is a DJ/Producer in Brooklyn, New York, looking to make a name for himself in the underground tech/house music scene. After graduating from Seton Hall University in 2024 - 13 miles away from Manhattan in South Orange, New Jersey - Chico found his love for house music after residing in Boston, where he lived within walking distance to some of Boston's biggest nightclubs for over two years. "While I raised on hip-hop - once I began mixing rap vocals over house beats and saw how people bounced to it, I knew I would never turn back." Aside from managing social media and handling the creative and graphic design for ooGroove, "...my job is to make people dance."
